The workshop given by both Dr. Khawter Mousa and Dr. Ghada Mansi- took place on Sunday 21/04/1437 in the College Auditorium from 10 am to 12. Dr. Mousa explained the general and detailed objectives of voluntary work and then defined the meaning of volunteerism in Islam and cited various examples from the Holy Quran and Sunnah. Then, Dr. Mansi spoke about the ethics characterizing voluntary work and its areas, motivations and underpinning foundations along with the different obstacles faced by volunteers due to their fault or the institutions providing that work.
