Measuring targeted educational outcomes for higher education courses and programs

The Training Unit conducted a workshop entitled “Measuring targeted educational outcomes for higher education courses and programs”.
Goals of the workshop:
Develop participants’ skills in measuring targeted educational outcomes for higher education courses and programs.
The workshop focused on explaining the method of measuring academic programs and courses based on learning outcomes. This process of measurement relies on continuous development to achieve targeted learning outcomes.
The development process comprises four major stages: measurement achievement in learning outcomes, assessing the progress to identify strengths and weakness points, suggestion to improve weakness points and implementing the suggested improvements.
The workshop will propose methods of setting up plans to measure learning outcomes of courses and academic programs.
