The departments of Special Education and Kindergartens Honors the winners in His Excellency the Rector’s Award of Qur’an and Al Sunnah Al Nabawiyah for the academic year 1435/1436 AH

(Say, "In the bounty of Allah and in His mercy - in that let them rejoice; it is better than what they accumulate.") (Yūnus: 58) The departments of Special Education and Kindergartens celebrated and honored on Tuesday, 25/06/1436 AH five of their students for winning advanced positions in His Excellency the Rector’s award of the Qur’an and Al Sunnah Al Nabawiyah. The winners were as follows: the students Arwa Al Mutawa and Khawla Al Turaifi from the Department of Kindergartens won the 2nd and 4th positions in the 3rd division of the Rector’s award, and the student Moudi Al Entifi from the Department of Special Education won the 3rd position of the same division, and both of the students Manal Al Mulaifi and Maryam Al Zwaid from the Department of Special Education won the 3rd position successively in the 4th division of the Rector’s award. Thus, to motivate the students and promote their continued participation, the departments (affiliates and students) organized an honoring ceremony for the winners. The ceremony was inaugurated with a recitation from the Glorious Quran, followed by a welcoming speech by the departments’ supervisor in Zulfi, Dr. Mona Tawakl Al Sayed, in which she extended the departments’ thanks and appreciation to all those involved in the award praying to Allah, that he may reward them richly. Then, she congratulated the winners and urged them to keep working on what they have accomplished so far, and to value and honor what the Almighty have blessed them with, stressing that it’s imperative for them to embrace the Glorious Qur’an and abide by it in order to excel in knowledge and deed. In addition to this, the departments’ affiliates: Dr. Sarah Mubarak, Ms. Ameera Shani, Dr. Amina Othman, Dr. Iman Hamdi, Dr. Jeehan Farid, and Dr. Salwa Hamada also delivered speeches congratulating the winners, and motivating the rest of the attending departments’ students to participate in all awards and competitions offered by the University in order for them to build their personalities, and expand and enlighten their minds. Moreover, the students who won in the award made a brief introduction about the award and its divisions. At the end of the ceremony, all attending students offered their congratulations to their colleagues on winning, expressing their happiness for them. Sweets were then distributed and souvenirs were presented. The ceremony was concluded with a speech by the departments’ supervisor, in which she wished success and achievement for all.
