Colleges of Medicine and Dentistry:
When applying for admission to the College of Medicine, students have to meet the following requirements:
1. Students must obtain IELTS band 4.5. The deadline for submitting the certificate to the College of Medicine is the last day of final exam for Common First Year.
2. A minimum GPA of 4.5
3. Students should not have failed or banned from any course
4. Students should sign and abide by the Student Charter

The Office of the Dean for Common First Year is considered to be the first phase during which students are introduced to all different majors in various fields. Thus, the basic aim of Common First Year level is to help students to get to grips with the way university differs from high school.

1. A student will attend two consecutive terms to complete the requirements of Common First Year
2. The timetable is fixed during the study period at Common First Year and students may not be able to add or drop courses.
3. Students do not need to register for every semester; they are considered registered according the study plan of the Common First Year.
4. In case of a student failed one of the Common First Year’s courses, he/she is allowed to retake that course in the upcoming semester.
