A Workshop on SPSS held by Vice-Rector’s Office for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research

The Vice-Rector’s Office for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research conducted a workshop for faculty members on the statistical analysis skills of research results using SPSS. Faculty members from several colleges (e.g. Medicine, Applied Medical Science, Engineering, Education) have attended the workshop which focused on introducing the software SPSS and the necessary skills required for using it professionally.
The main themes addressed included : variables and how to record them, keying data, the software menus, creating frequency tables, reading data, graphs and charts.
A hands-on session was held to train the faculty members followed by a Q&A session.
