A SEMINAR TO BE HELD BY SAUDI MEDICAL SENSATION ASSOCIATION ON CORONA VIRUS OUTBREAK

Under the patronage of MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Muqren and the follow-up of the Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Mohammed Al-Shayaa, the Saudi Medical Sensation Association (SMSA) conducted a seminar to discuss the medical and engineering role of the association in fighting the spread of corona virus. The seminar, entitled “Medical Sensation Applications in fighting Corona Virus”, was held on Sunday May 10th, 2020.
Prof. Al-Shayaa inaugurated the seminar by thanking MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Muqren for supporting this event as well as other activities, and commending members of the SMSA.
In a statement delivered by the chairman of SMSA, Dr. Abdel Aziz Al-Khathiri, he highlighted the motives of the association and extended his thanks to MU Rector, Dr. Al-Muqren, the Vice-Rector, Prof. Al-Shayaa and the Supervisor of Administration of International Cooperation and Scientific Societies, Dr. Ali Al-Sa’awi for patronizing this event.
The seminar featured two sessions: the first one was titled “Medical sensations and their role in medical advancement”, which was presented by Prof. Abdelrahman Al-Attram, Dr. Khalid Al-Abdelwahab and Dr. Raed Al-Baraadi, and was chaired by Dr. Shadi Al-Shuwayer
The second sessions title was “Medical sensation and their role in fighting Corona Virus”, presented by Dr. Ahmed Al-Assan and Dr. Abdelrahman Al-Ghatani, and was chaired by Dr. Khalid Al-Shareef.
Participants in this seminar have exceeded 700 both from the KSA and overseas.
