MU VICE-RECTOR FOR GRADUATE STUDIES AND SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH MEETS OUTSTANDING RESEARCHERS AND INVENTORS

Prof. Mohammed Al-Shaya’a, Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, had a meeting with the top researchers and inventors from colleges of science, applied medical science, engineering and medicine.
He extended his thanks and MU Rector’s appreciation to them for their unfailing commitment to publish their academic works in peer-reviewed journals that will improve the university’s world ranking. The Vice-Rector’s Office for Graduate Studies and Scientfic Research is willing to provide supports to researchers to increase their publications. A series of meetings are likely to take place in future to determine all means of support for research.
To encourage inventions and innovative ideas, Prof. Al-Shaya’a has also indicated the support of Student Innovation Center for any invention including the fact that it should be registered with the patent office. He also assured the researchers that the university is committed to provide any required support and fund for outstanding works to make their way to success.
In line with the strong tendency the university is embracing to place scientific research at the forefront of the university’s priorities, the Vice-Rector announced the launch of a new prize for scientific research in different categories such as invention, publishing, authoring.
