H.E. Dr. Khalid Bin Saad Al Muqrin, Rector of Majmaah University extended his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz - may Allah protect him - and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince Nayef Bin Abdulaziz, for what is allocated for Majmaah University, from the state budget this year which reached to (959.970.000). This is considered a great appreciation by the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the efforts being made in the university and the accomplishments achieved during the four years of its establishment of the university and the big strides to establish the University in accordance with the highest specifications and standards of the modern universities to be able to meet the desires of knowledge and achieve scientific ambitions of the population of the provinces, cities and surrounding villages up to the expectations of the governors. This was accomplished by the help of Almighty God and then by the great support received by the University from the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz, and his continuous guidance that universities should take priority in support and the provision of their needs and under the supervision and follow-up of H.E. the Minister of Higher Education Prof. Dr. Khalid Bin Mohammed Al Angari and the efforts of the loyal sons of the nation affiliated with this university.
Dr. Khalid showed his happiness with this budget indicated that the amounts allocated for Majmaah University will further progress the University and will enable it to achieve a number of planned objectives along with providing all necessary requirements for all of the university facilities of deanships, colleges and departments.
He praised what has been allocated for education in this year's budget. This proofs the foresight of these country planners and reflects the leadership awareness of the education message, and that the first area of the country renaissance and citizen prosperity and that investment in people is the most successful, useful ways of investing. He pointed out that what was allocated for education in this year's budget confirms the interest of this sector to complete the tremendous steps in this field through the large-scale projects that were established to serve public and higher education. Also we should mention that opening of new horizons for universities’ graduates to contribute to nation building through joining King Abdullah foreign Scholarship program, which is considered the largest governmental program of Scholarship in the world.
Dr. Khalid Al Muqrin added that the increase in the budget for this year than it was last year proves the stability of the Saudi economy and its resistance against the financial and political crises surrounding our dear homeland.
His Excellency Dr. Khalid Al Muqren concluded his statement by reiterating his congratulations to all citizens and officials for this budget, which is the largest in the country history. He called the Almighty God to protect the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and to protect the Crown Prince and perpetuates the grace and the security, safety, stability, pride and empowerment, progress and prosperity of our dear country.
