The members of the Student Advisory Council, held a meeting with the members of the Advisory Council students which was headed by the Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Al-Aboudi, and in the presence of the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Bader Al-Sulami.

During the meeting, several important topics were discussed, including:

•    Renewing the membership of the Advisory Council.

•    Informing the Council of the mechanisms for supporting students.

•    Discussing the students' point of view on the university's strategic plan.

•    Diversifying academic activities for this year.

•    Educating the students about the importance of taking courses in student clubs.

•    Supporting scientific research by publishing student research.

•    Establishing a student scientific magazine in cooperation with the Deanship of Scientific Research.

•    The role of professional certificates in enhancing skills.

•    Cooperating with centers and facilities to provide training courses for students.

•    Reviewing the student portal and services provided by the Deanship of Student Affairs.

The meeting aims to enhance the ongoing dialogue between students and the administration, and to improve the services and activities provided to students to developing their academic and professional environment. The meeting also aimed to know students' view from different disciplines to ensure comprehensive representation of different viewpoints. This diversity contributes to improving the quality of decisions to improve the academic environment to serve all students.
