The University Takes Part in the First Diploma in the Media for the University Students

The university, represented by Deanship of Student Affairs, participated in the first diploma in the Media for the students of the universities that are members of Islamc Cooperation Organization and the members of the Union of Islamic World Universities in Egypt. This great event was organized by the International Union for Muslim Scout. His Excellency the Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Hamad Abdullah Alghemeizi mentioned that this participation is one of the directions of his Highness the University Rector Dr. Khaled Sa'ad Almuqrin who always emphasizes on the importance of training the university students in different fields, and participating in forums and student programs that achieve this goal. Also, Dr. Alghemeizi stated that this participation aims to train the students on media programs that contribute to create a media-oriented generation serves its religion, king and nation. Moreover, throughout this event, the students will be exchanging experiences while visiting the universities and vast media institutions in Egypt. The program will include a visit to Arab League and some other universities and large media institutions in order to make some beneficial tours and hold some lectures and workshops related to the diploma. Dr. Alghemeizi added that the program would start from Saturday 10/10/1434 to 21/10/1434. The students will do (30) hours, five hours daily. Once the student is awarded the diploma, he will be qualified for working in the media field in the university.
