FINAL MATCH OF VICE-RECTOR FUTSAL TOURNEMENT PATRONIZED BY VICE-RECTOR FOR EDUCATIONAL AFFAIRS

Under the patronage of the Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al-Rumaih and in the presence of the Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Khalid Al-Ofaisan and a number of vice-deans, the final match was played between the team of College of Engineering and the team of College of Science in the sports court, marking the end of the tournament. The College of Engineering’s team won the game by penalty shoot-outs.
Dr. Al-Rumaih honored partners that assisted in holding this tournament, referees and winning teams and players. The University Pioneer School was honored for hosting the tournament and the General Administration of University Security and Medical Services Department were honored for supervising the tournament.
Referees of the match: Mr. Khalaf Al-Saqeer, Naif Al-Muraikhi and Musa’ad Al-Mushari were also honored by the vice-rector along with the management and coaches of teams.
The award of best player was won by the student Omar Al-Hamad from the College of Science. The students Bader Al-Masudi and Saud Al-Mejel from the College of Engineering won the award of best goalkeeper and top scorer, respectively.
The College of Education in Majmaah was awarded with bronze medals as a third place winner; the College of Science with silver medals as a second place winner and the College of Engineering with golden medals and the trophy as the champion of this tournament.
The head of Sports and Scout Department, Mr. Nasser Al-Hanou extended his thanks to the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Al-Ofaisan for his support and follow of the tournament as well as to all partners and referees who have contributed in making this event successful.
The Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Al-Ofaisan, extended his thanks to MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Muqren and the Vice-Rector, Dr. Al-Rumaih for their unlimited support and guidance.
