Deanship of Students Affairs Gains High Positions in Peace Messengers Course in Wales

According to the directions of his Highness the University Rector Dr. Khaled Sa'ad Almuqrin, the university, represented by Deanship of Student Affairs (scouts), took part in the international peace messengers course for Saudi universities scouts. The course was held in Britain, Wales and organized by Saudi Scouts Society. In fact, the participation included several courses and programs rich in important experiments for the scout student such as peace messengers, its introduction, skills, application manners, social issues, environmental and health issues, communication skills and the project of peace messengers locally and internationally. The university delegation presented two projects; the first is local and the second is international. The two projects were evaluated, discussed and refereed by a specialized committee from the teaching staff in Saudi universities. The university got the second place among the Saudi universities in volunteer projects that could be executed outside the university. Also, the university got the forth place in volunteer projects executed on the university campus. At the end of the course, the participatory delegations from the Saudi universities were conferred honor upon. In fact, the university delegation got distinction and appreciation in the camp leading for its interaction in all programs. Moreover, the participators from the Saudi universities were given some souvenirs by the university. This was stated by the delegation chair, the Deanship vice Dean for student activities Mr. Khaled Ibrahim Alofeisan who indicated that this participation is part of the other excellent participations the Deanship took part in throughout this academic year 1433/1434 at the level of Saudi universities. Mr. Alofeisan expressed his thanks tohis excellency the Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Hamad Abdullah Alghemeizi who always commends the distinction of the university scouts programs and he makes a follow-up to make sure the activities are meeting the expectations.
