A Training Workshop held at the First Intermediate School in Majmaah

The Office of the Dean for Community Service and Continuing Education held a training workshop at the First Intermediate School in Majmaah.

Represented by 'Rafed' Volunteer Team, an educational entertainment program was offered to the students.
Teacher Afaf Al-Ofaisan appreciated the efforts of the Office of the Dean and explained briefly the idea 'Accomplishment Notebook', which is basically a notebook where students record their achievements to be reviewed and evaluated by the school’s administration. After that the students expressed their thoughts and feelings towards this initiative and its impact on the course of their lives.
The program also included :
Workshop: (Basics of Pencil Drawing) by Ms. Haya Mohamed Mezal. In the workshop, students were asked to draw an apple using coal and they enjoyed it.
Several pavilions were set up to enrich the girls’ hand-made skills. The pavilions are:
Cup Base Making
Lip Moisturizer Making
Cold Coffee Making

Students were presented cards at the end of every pavilion encouraging them to engage in volunteer works in the coming years. The student have also received a bag offered by the Office of the Dean of Community Service.

The Training Center for Women and Community, represented by Ms. Kholoud Djaelan Rashidi, thanked the school’s principal Ms. Mariam Al-Mutairi, and the teachers : Noha Saleh, Afaf Aallissan, and Mai Oud for their contribution to achieve the goals of this initiative. A certificate of thanks and appreciation was presented to the school’s administration.
The school thanked Majmaah University represented by the Rector Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al-Muqren, Dean of Community Service and Continuing Education Dr. Omar Bin Musaed Al-Sharyofi, vice-Dean of of Community Service and Continuing Education (female campus) Dr. Maha bint Ibrahim Kaltham, and the head of Training Center for Women and Community Ms. Kholoud Djaelan Rashidi for their efforts in all areas of social and community service.
