Under the patronage of the Head of the Mathematics Department and in the presence of the Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, the Head of the Computer Science and Information Department and the Vice Dean at female campus, the department held a celebration on the occasion of the International Day of Mathematics.
The program began with a speech by the Head of the Department who highlighted the growing role of mathematics in our lives and the future of this science in light of the accelerating scientific progress.
Dr. Jawdat Ibrahim and Dr. Mojtaba Ahmed Youssef offered simplified mathematical ideas for laymen followed by competition presented by Dr. Muhammad Omar Tengari.
At the end of the event, participating faculty members and students were honored.
