The CEO attends a workshop held by the General Secretariat of University Affairs Council on regulatory and legislative aspects of applied colleges

The General Secretariat of the Council of University Affairs organized a workshop entitled: “Organizational and Legislative Aspects of Applied Colleges”. The workshop was presented by Dr. Bader Al-Shathri, the Director of the Governance Development Initiative for Higher Education Institutions in the presence of the CEO of the Applied College, Dr. Shadi Al-Shuwayer, the Deputy CEO Dr. Ibrahim Al-Arifi, Assistant CEO Dr. Abdullah Al-Saadoun, and a number of academic and administrative leaders.

The workshop discussed the organizational and legislative aspects of applied colleges, and ways to develop academic and administrative work in a way that enhances the quality of educational performance and keeps pace with the requirements of the labor market.

The workshop also addressed the importance of forming partnerships between applied colleges and other sectors to achieve integration and support innovation in curricula.
