The Deanship of Scientific Research is associated with the Vice-Rector’s Office for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research.
1 - Proposing the university's annual research plan and preparing the necessary draft budget for it before being submitted to the Scientific Council.
2 - Developing the regulations, rules and procedures regulating the movement of scientific research at the university.
3- Approval of research and studies projects, monitor their completion, evaluation and funding in accordance with relevant regulations.
4 - Suggesting means of communications with research centers outside the university.
5- Developing scientific programs and ideas to improve scientific research methods and quality.
6 - Coordinate work among research centers at the university and eliminate duplication in their performance.
7- Encourage joint research among departments and colleges to raise the efficiency and effectiveness of using available resources.
8 - Recommend publishing research approved by the Deanship after being reviewed in accordance with the rules of publication at the university.
9 - Encourage faculty members to be innovative and oversee the rights of inventors and patents.
10 - Encourage faculty members and researchers to publish their research after being reviewed according to the university’s publication rules.
11 - Organize communication with research centers outside the university (local and foreign).
12 - Establish a database for underway and completed research at the university before being submitted to the university’s vice rector for graduate studies and scientific research.
13 - Study the annual report and final account of the scientific research activity.
14 - Supervise and monitor research funded by other sectors outside the university.
15 - Considering matters referred to it by the university council or rector, the vice-rector for graduate studies and scientific research about study.
16 - Working on developing workflow procedures and mechanisms.
17 - Preparing an annual report and submitting it to the authorized person.
