Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren, MU Rector, patronized the closing ceremony of student activities organized by Dean’s Office of Student Affairs at the main auditorium of main campus in the presence vice-rectors, deans, directors, faculty and students.

The Student Advising Center associated with the Dean’s Office Student Affairs held a lecture at the College of Dentistry entitled “ Radical Thought and its Impacts on Individual and Society”.

On Tuesday, the Student Advising Center under the Dean’s Office of Student Affairs held a lecture at the College of Medicine entitled “ Mental health, talent and ambition and their Relation to Student's Scientific Excellence”.

Under the patronage of Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al-Rumaih, the 2nd MU Marathon Race was organized by the Office of the Dean for Student Affairs. Over 80 contestants of MU staff and students have joined the marathon.

On Sunday, the Student Advising Center held a program entitled “ Impact of Peers on Academic Achievement and Moral Conduct”.

Under the patronage of MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren, the final match of futsal tournament took place in the sports hall between College of Science’s team and College of Engineering. The matched was ended by an overwhelming victor for the College of Science with 5-2.

The Student Advising Center held on Wednesday a lecture for students at the College of Education in Zulfi entitled ‘Obedience to Parents and Success’.

MU Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al-Rumaih, launched a campaign organized by the Office of the Dean for Student Affairs in collaboration with the Saudi Stem Cell Donor Registry.

On Tuesday 14/6/1440, the Student Advising Center conducted a lecture for a group of students from the College of Applied Medical Science entitled “ Training, Economy and Dedications are Attributes of Excellence”.

An awareness lecture entitled “Social Media between Importance and Addiction” was conducted on Tuesday at the Engineering College.

On Tuesday, 8/6/1440 AH, the Student Guidance and Counseling Center conducted a lecture for a group of students from the Community College titled: "The Path to Scientific Excellence", presented by Mr. Khalid Saif Al Nasser.

Based on the vision of the Dean’s Office to improve the administrative work, a number of administrative orders were issued by the Dean of Student Affairs as follow:
1. Mr. Isa Al-Isa was assigned as a general supervisor of the Student Nutrition and Service Department.

An educational lecture was delivered on Thursday by the Student Advising Center for a group of students for Preparatory Year entitled “ Ethics of University Students”.

A comprehensive planning was launched by the Student Advising Center for the second semester of the academic year (1439-1440).

Under the patronage of Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al-Rumaih and in the presence of the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Khalid Al-Ofaisan, the Academic Supervisor of Reading Clubs, Dr. Aqil Al-Aqil, will present the goals of these clubs and main themes of the workshop.

The Office of the Dean of Student Affairs has launched MU Rector Quran and Sunnah Memorization Contest for students. The aim of this contest is to encourage students to be more attached to Quran via recitation, memorization or even interpretation ‘Tafsir’.
