Within Automation Plan of the University Business: Vice Rectorship Review the Electronic Control System

  • For complementing project of the Vice Rectorship of automating processes and facilitating the workflow procedures in achieving a university environment without paper.  Under the leadership of Dr. Musalam bin Mohammed Al Dosari, the Vice Rectorship represented of the University Environmental and Occupational Health Department, and in the presence of His Excellency, General Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs, HE General Director of maintenance and Operations Department, HE Director of Projects and Technical Affairs, HE Director of Direct Purchase Department, Director of Administrative Services, the representative of the Deanship of Information Technology, made a coordination meeting to view the features of electronic control system which is achieving automate operations for five important departments in the university as follow:
  • 1. Electronic Food Safety System.
  • 2. Maintenance System of Scientific and Medical Devices.
  • 3. Follow-up construction projects system.
  •  4. Follow-up maintenance and operation system.
  • 5. Follow-up the system of students' transferring daily and tracking buses.
  • His Excellency, the Vice-rector, has explained that this system comes to realize the ambitions of the employees at university by providing a distinct environment and to achieve the needs of everyone, as well as to facilitate the follow-up work by preparing reports and sending them to those responsible sections to view and guidance. He added, this system is characterized of distributing the work assignments on the field teams electronically, and following-up the process of receiving mission and implementing it, as well as providing  field teams a with portable device to facilitate the monitoring and documenting observations, reporting, and increasing its efficiency and quality. This system is also characterized by the existence of the application on smart phones to facilitate the following-up and implementation tasks perfectly.
  • At the end of the meeting, the Vice-rector thanked the audience for their interest and cooperation because of what he observed in the General Department of Administrative and Financial Affairs of their interaction and cooperation with the projects of university environmental development by overcoming many difficulties to achieve these projects.
