Vice-Rector’s Speech

The occasion of the 86th National Day Anniversary of our dear country Saudi Arabia takes place on Friday 22/12/1437 AH, corresponding to September 23rd/ 2016, to remind us of the glorious past of our country in the previous decades, which witnessed various achievements despite the different circumstances and changes taking place nowadays around the world. We celebrate this glorious day to remember those great visions and principles upon which the country has been established by King Abdul-Aziz Al-Saud (May He Rest in Peace), who founded the country on the basis of Sharia, bringing both the principles of Islam together with modernity. Such combination made the people of this country, particularly those of the University who have been brought up on these principles, united and patriotic. On this occasion, it is better to remember the blessings of security and stability that are the basis of unity and love among the citizens of the country. We can also recall the achievements made in various fields by the leadership who worked from the beginning on developing a new vision for the country, taking advantage of the available resources that made the country the leader of both the Islamic and Arab world. On this occasion, I extend my sincere congratulations to our father the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz, his Crown Prince, Prince Muhammad bin Naïf and the deputy-crown prince, Prince Muhammad bin Salman as well as the Saudi people. We ask Allah to bless our dear country and protect us from the evil and the wicked. May Allah Bless you. May Allah Bless the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
