At the request of MU rector, Dr. khalid al-Muqren to invariably make students the center of the university attention and to provide all possible means of support to students via student activities, competitions and entertaining programs, the university student fund for the years 2019 and 2020 funded all student activities at the university level including contests, activities and the participation in external conference.
Activities held at college level were also funded with cash amount each semester that can be spend on all kinds of cultural social and sports activities.
Furthermore, the Student Fund has collaborated with the MU Prosthetic Rehabilitation Center to offer free-of-charge therapy and rehabilitation sessions to students.
Students have also received grant for their graduation projects and publishing in journals as well as financial rewards in case their research was accepted for publication.
Students can also get cash loan by applying through a system that is making the process accessible and easier.
The total amount of money spent by the Student Fund on activities and student loans for the past two years: 2019 and 2020 has exceeded 2.890.000 SR.
The Student Fund board of directors has approved several investment projects that are expected to generate an income for the fund.
The dean of Student Affairs and chairman of the Student Fund board of directors, Dr. Khalid al-Ofaisan, as well as all members were pleased to extend their thanks to MU rector, Dr. al-Muqren for his support to serve students in the best possible manner.
