The Dean of Information Technology, Dr. Mohammed Al-Waneen received a delegation from the University of Knowledge in the presence of Vice-Dean of Technical Affairs, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Zamil.
The delegation was headed by Mr. Abelkareem Al-Zamil and Mr. Mohammed Al-Zamil.
The aim of the visit is to have an idea about state-of-the-art technologies used by the Office of the Dean.
The meeting addressed the major achievements and the remarkable technical progress of the Office of the Dean of IT as well as the mechanism of potential cooperation in the future.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Dean welcomed the guests and pointed out the importance of joint cooperation.
Mr. Walid Al-Aoula, the Supervisor of Technical Affairs at e-portal Unit, gave an explanation of the University e-Portal and the Intranet which makes the process of accessing by the staff to all services and applications much easier.
Mr. Abdulrahman Al-Tariki, Director of the Software Department, gave a detailed explanation of the electronic services provided by the Office of the Dean to the employees of the University such as My Services 'Khadamati', the system of committees and councils and a number of technical systems.
At the end of the meeting, the Dean said that we hope such meetings will resume and will pave the way for future cooperation.
