Deanship of Electronic and Distance Learning Reviews the Informatics Skills E-Training Program.

Upon the directives of the University Rector Dr. Khaled Bin Saad AL Migrin to the Deanship of E-learning to widen the scope of its activities and programs to serve the academia and the local community and to diversify the targets of its program, the Deanship of Electronic and Distance Learning represented by the vice deanship for academic affairs held a coordinative meeting with a company specialized in the field of e- training under the supervision of the university Vice Rector, the supervisor of E-Learning Deanship Dr. Mussalem Bin Mohamed AL Dossari to discuss possible benefits from electronic self -training programs. The vice dean for academic affairs Dr. Khaled Bin Nashi AL Muthaibri chaired the meeting where the participating parties presented the Office Self-training Programs offered by Cambridge which can be useful in teaching as an E- course for study tracks which include Computer Basics courses and which can also be useful in developing the skills of University affiliates such as faculty members, employees and the local community in general. The program would qualify the trainer through the Office self- training package to sit for the Cambridge IT Skills Test certified by the Ministry of Civil Service. Dr. AL Muthaibri stated that the deanship's adoption of such electronic programs will endorse the strategic plans of the university. Thanks and appreciation were extended to the university Rector Dr. Khaled Bin Saad AL Migrin for his unflinching support to the deanship and to the university vice rector supervisor of the deanship Dr. Mussalem bin Mohamed AL Dossari for the interest and follow up that he pays to the deanship.
