The Vice-Dean’s Office for Development & Quality at the Common First Year Deanship conducted a virtual orientation program for new faculty.
The program was commenced by a welcoming speech followed by the following topics:
1. The importance of academic advising in the educational process
2. Activating the e-learning management system ‘Blackboard’ in teaching strategies
3. Quality assurance requirements in higher education
At the end of the program, participants extended their thanks to the dean and those who moderated the program which was useful and informative.
