The College of Nursing holds the “Little First Aid Heroes” Initiative

The Volunteer and Community Service Unit at the College of Nursing held an initiative focusing on the First Aid  skills at Al-Majd Primary School in Majmaah. The initiative forms part of the College’s efforts to promote health awareness and instill basic first aid concepts among primary school students.

The program featured an interactive training session delivered in a simplified manner suitable for the targeted age group. It included hands-on training for faculty members, administrative staff, and students on essential first aid skills, most notably cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), choking management, and wound and bleeding care. Practical applications were also conducted to enhance participants’ understanding and build confidence in performing these skills.

This initiative reflects the College’s mission of community service, strengthening health responsibility, and promoting preventive awareness to build a healthier and more informed society capable of responding appropriately in emergencies.
