Under the patronage of the Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Mohammed Al-Shehri, and in the presence of the Dean of the College, Dr. Ashwaq Al-Asiri, the College of Nursing held its end-of-year celebration for the academic year 1446 AH. The two-day event highlighted the college’s achievements and honored the efforts of its faculty, staff, and students.
The first day of the ceremony began with a warm welcome by the student Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, followed by a recitation from the Holy Qur’an. The Dean Dr. Ashwaq Al-Asiri delivered a speech expressing her pride in the academic and community accomplishments of the college, and praised the dedication of the students, faculty, and staff.
Dr. Sharifah Al-Asiri, Vice Dean for the Female Section, also gave a speech highlighting key statistics and milestones achieved during the year.
The event featured a video presentation showcasing student activities and community initiatives, followed honoring outstanding faculty, staff, and collaborators. Distinguished departments and units were honored as well, along with the Student Club led by the student Nawaf Al-Mutairi.
The day concluded with the graduating students taking the professional nursing oath.
The second day of the celebration focused on honoring the achievements of female students and staff. It began with a Qur’anic recitation, followed by an inspiring speech by the Dean, who expressed her pride in the accomplishments of the students and female faculty. Dr. Sharifah Al-Asiri delivered a second speech, highlighting the college’s academic and community contributions throughout the year.
The program included a visual presentation of the college’s milestones, followed by honoring exceptional female faculty, administrative staff, and outstanding students. Members of the Student Club were also honored.
The ceremony concluded with female graduates proudly taking the professional oath, affirming their readiness to step into the workforce with responsibility and confidence.
