The Volunteer and Community Service Unit at the College of Nursing held an introductory session about women's overall health titled “Prevention and Care Throughout Life Stages.”
The session was presented by Dr. Naglaa Abu- aldahab on Irtiqaa platform and targeted all members of the community. The session focused on explaining the concept of comprehensive women's health. It also highlighted the importance of continuous prevention and healthcare throughout a woman’s life—starting from childhood and adolescence, through marriage and motherhood, and into older age.
The session included several awareness topics that discussed the main health challenges women may face. It also emphasized effective ways to care for women’s physical, mental, and social well-being. The program aims to raise health awareness among women and empower them to adopt a healthy lifestyle that helps prevent chronic diseases and maintain a good quality of life.
