The College of Medicine Organizes Scientific Visit to Basic Health Research Center

Members of the Department of Basic Medical Sciences at the College of Medicine conducted a scientific visit to the Basic Health Research Center, in the presence of the Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Mohammed Al-Julaifi, along with the Head of the Department, faculty members, and researchers.

The visit aimed to explore the center’s advanced research capabilities. The delegation received a detailed overview of the research infrastructure, available equipment, and technologies, as well as the support services provided to researchers to enhance research quality and foster innovation.

The program included a field tour of the center’s laboratories and research units, where participants were introduced to operational procedures, advanced equipment, and opportunities for collaborative research projects. This supports the shift toward interdisciplinary research addressing health challenges and advancing scientific knowledge.

The visit also featured discussions on strengthening research collaboration, including activating joint projects, exchanging expertise, providing access to the center’s facilities for researchers and postgraduate students, and exploring opportunities to organize workshops and training programs to enhance research skills and capacity.
