The initiative aimed to foster meaningful dialogue between students and the local community, while raising awareness about issues facing older adults and exploring ways to empower them across the health, social, and economic sectors.
The forum featured a series of panel discussions and interactive lectures addressing the challenges encountered by elderly and the support systems needed to enhance their well-being. Sessions also highlighted successful community initiatives dedicated to serving this important group.
The program featured hands-on workshops and interactive cultural competitions that allowed students to propose ideas and solutions aimed at improving services for elderly and enhancing their quality of life. Students also had the opportunity to meet experts and specialists in social work and community service who shared best practices and innovative project models in the field.
The Community Service Unit pointed out that the college’s participation aims to broaden students’ perspectives, cultivate values of social responsibility, and encourage active community engagement. This aligns with the college’s mission to prepare an aware and capable generation equipped to offer innovative solutions to societal challenges and to promote a culture of volunteering and humanitarian service.
