Saudi National Day Commemoration

With pride, hearts full of love for our beloved country and with eyes looking forward to a bright future, the Kingdom celebrates the anniversary of the National Day on Monday, 24 Muharram 1441.

It is the anniversary of the foundation of this country by His Majesty King Abdul-Aziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, may God rest his soul, who united the fighting tribes all over the Arabian peninsula to form this great nation: the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The achievements that have been accomplished are undoubtedly thanks to Allah first, and through the collaboration of the leadership with the people.

Therefore, we always feel, with the approach of this great occasion, the great meaning of the event that has become a beacon showing us the path to civilization and prosperity. Ever since the establishments of the Kingdom, minds were enlightened, hopes and ambitions were brewing, while a bright future was looming on the horizon.

Our sons and daughters are rushing every day to serve the country with love and responsibility so much so that progress and prosperity have touched upon each sector nationwide.

To preserve these precious gains, our brave soldiers are fighting the enemy on our borders and in every inch of the country, sacrificing priceless lives for security and peace.

This anniversary has many implications:

• Appreciating the bless of unity and nationhood
• It is a precious memory for us to review the history of a nation and remember the great efforts of the founding king - may Allah rest his soul – in uniting the nation tribes into one home for all its citizens.

• When thinking about this anniversary, we feel the value of such an achievement and importance of preserving its gains by hard work, dedication and commitment, so it is our duty to encourage our children to continue the development of this blessed country in all fields in line with the 2030 vision while committing to our Islamic values and traditions.

• It is not only a commemoration of the unification of the land, but a memory of the unity of hearts built on love, solidarity and pride.

• This great occasion represents a glorious memory and a renewed call for present and future generations to join hands, to support social solidarity and to promote loyalty to the good leadership of the country.
