Rumaah College of Science and Humanities (Female Section) Celebrates the Graduation of First Batch

In honor of Her Royal Highness Princess Sarah bint Hejab Al Jowe’ed, wife of His Royal Highness Prince Al-Montaser bin Saud bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud, Rumaah College of Science and Humanities celebrated on Wednesday, 24/07/1436 AH, the graduation of the first batch of its students. The ceremony was inaugurated with a welcoming speech, followed by recitations from the Glorious Quran. After that, the College representative and Vice Dean of female sections, Ms. Labibah bint Musleh Al-Enezi, delivered a speech, in which she welcomed everyone and congratulated the graduates on their achievements and success, then she urged them to continue exerting more effort in service of this beloved country. Then, on behalf of the College, Ms. Labibah extended her thanks and appreciations to the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince and his Heir for all of their honorable efforts in promoting knowledge and higher education in all cities, towns and villages of our beloved kingdom. Next, the College Deputy Vice Dean for Educational Affairs, Ms. Halimah bint Saleh Al-Shahri, delivered a speech on behalf of the Vice Rector for Educational Affairs and Supervisor of the Deanship of Admission and Registration, Dr. Ahmed bin Ali Romaih. Then, the Vice Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Safiah Al-Shahrani also delivered a speech. Moreover, the ceremony was attended by Dr. Nora Al-Sowayan from the College of Education, Ms. Hanan Al-Shaher from the College of Computer Science, the wife of Rumaah province governor, Director of Rumaah Office of Educational Supervision, Head of Rumaah Memorization Administration, and a number of faculty members, society ladies, graduates and their mothers. The number of graduates reached (139) students from all departments in the College, and various majors, including English Language, Business Administration and Islamic Studies; furthermore, these graduates represent the first batch (1431/1432 AH) that graduate from the College. In addition to this, the ceremony included a documentary film about the College, which detailed the efforts of its sponsors and the overall scientific and academic level of the College, it also included the Dean of the College, Dr. Bandar bin Abdul Aziz Al-Yahya’s speech to the students. Next, the English Department Coordinator, Ms. Rabe’a bint Ali Al-Bakhit delivered a speech on behalf of the College departments’ coordinators altogether. Then, the student Nafla’ bint Ali Al-Subaie delivered a speech on behalf of the graduates. The graduates’ march began afterwards, where they were honored by the Vice Dean, and then HRH the Princess kindly honored the distinguished students among them. Next, Dr. Safiah Al-Shahrani honored the students who participated in the College’s scientific conference as well as the members of the Student activities Unit during the year. At the end of the ceremony, the Vice Dean extended her thanks to the Princess on honoring the graduation ceremony, and then received a souvenir from the College Administration. The ceremony was concluded by inaugurating its accompanying exhibition, which includes the College departments as well as its printed and electronic production for the academic year 1435/1436 AH.
