A Lecture on Patriotism and National Pride in Remah

A lecture on Patriotism and National Pride was conducted by Dr. Abdullah Al-Attani on Tuesday for the students of Remah High School.
The presenter highlighted the importance of patriotism and its role in achieving community development.
Dr. Al-Attani encouraged students to be proud of this country and to be on its side in preserving the resources and fighting violence and extremism.
In answering a key question on the best way to consolidate patriotism and national pride, Dr. Al-Attani said that the values of patriotism are essential for the success of the three themes of the Kingdom Vision 2030: vibrant society, a thriving economy and an ambitious nation. The presenter then explained how patriotism can achieve the following:
1. Integrity and transparency
2. Preserving resources
3. Interacting positively with the community
4. Spending awareness
5. Being responsible in life and community
6. National pride
7. Living based on Islamic principles
8. Caring about family and developing a strong and balanced personality of our children
A large number of staff from the Education Office attended the lecture, and a great interaction took place with guardians. That has prompted the coordinator of the Education Office, Mr. Fahad Al-Subaya’a to invite the Community Service Unit at the College of Science and Humanities to hold more activities.
