The Dean of the College, Dr. Bandar Al Yahya received on Tuesday the Dean of Scientific Research, Dr. Thamer Al-Harbi, Vice Dean of Scientific Research Dr. Said Saleh Banawas, and Advisor to the Deanship of Scientific Research Dr. Hafez Balmbrook.
A workshop was presented at the beginning by the advisor of the Office of the Dean for Scientific Research Dr. Hafez Balmbrook for researchers who are interested in scientific publishing in ranked journals.
Then the presenter explained how to distinguish if a journal is ranked or not.
At the end of the workshop, Dr. Thamer Al Harbi thanked the participants for their efforts.
The workshop was followed by a meeting which focused on encouraging the faculty members to publish in ranked journals and to encourage the students to engage actively in the research process to have a generation that is competent in scientific research in line with the 2030 vision of the Kingdom.
Dr. Thamer concluded by thanking Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Prof. Mohammed al-Shaya'a, for his motivation to increase the productivity of scientific research in the college
