HIS HIGHNESS THE RECTOR MAKES A SUDDEN TOUR OF INSPECTION TO A NUMBER OF COLLEGES AND DEANSHIPS AND DIRECTS THE UNIVERSITY OFFICIALS TO INSTANTLY MEET THE NEEDS OF STUDENTS

After the sudden tour of inspection made by His Highness to a number of colleges, deanships and administrative offices as well as his attendance in students’ lectures and discussing with them about their matter, His Highness chaired immediately the periodical meeting for the High Committee of Following-up the University Projects and its Buildings. His Highness presented in the meeting his views with regard to the sudden tour of inspection and emphasized on all the importance  of following-up the companies that run the cafeteria, college restaurants, safety and security companies, and cleaning companies. He also called upon all officials to solve students’ problems and to take their notes into consideration. He also extended his thanks and appreciation for all staff in colleges due to their efforts.  The meeting also discussed a number of issues most importantly reviewing the updates with regard the University projects which was presented by His Excellency the Adviser in His Highness’ office, Dr. Mohmmad al-Dwaysh and the General Manager of Projects and Technical Affairs Mr. Abdellah Al-Sa’ab. His Excellency the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Hamad Al-Gamaizi presented a brief report about the current situation of the student services and its future plans. The follow-up Department Manager, Mr. Abdellah Al-Harbi presented a report about the employees’ punctuality in all departments and the procedures taken to enhance the working environment. The Financial and Administrative Manager Mr. Khalid Aba Huseein shed a light on the situation of safety in the University. Finally, the meeting was concluded with a number of recommendations on enhancing the educational environment of the University as well as meeting the needs of the students.
