FIRST LAPAROSCOPIC KIDNEY REMOVAL SURGERY SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED BY MU MEDICAL TEAM

MU medical team in cooperation with King Khalid Hospital has completed successfully the first laparoscopic kidney removal surgery for a patient.
The surgery - which is the first of its kind - was performed by Mohammed Al-Khamis, Assistant Professor in the Department of Nephrology and Urology with the assistance of a medical team in the surgery section.
The hospital extended thanks to Al-Khamis and Sulaiman Al-Mutairi, faculty member at the College of Medicine and the Head of Urology Department, for their cooperation.
This surgery is one of many performed successfully as a result of cooperation between the university and King Khalid Hospital.
