Department of Study Programs and Development

About the Department:
The Department is affiliated with preparing, accrediting and developing study plans and programs to ensure the improvement of their quality and outcomes to meet the labor market needs. It also concerned of developing the educational affairs at the Vice-Rector’s Office, colleges and dean’s offices to improve the efficiency of work and make it more flexible.
Vision:
To enhance the study plans and programs and develop the educational affairs.
Mission:
To achieve the requirements local community and national development by setting plans that will contribute in having study plans and programs with high quality educational outcomes that apply local and international standards which ultimately help in developing the educational affairs at the university
Objectives:
1. Set clear standards and mechanisms for preparing, endorsing and developing study plans and programs based on national and international criteria
2. Support colleges to improve the efficiency of study plans and programs to meet the requirements of academic accreditation
3. Write manuals and forms and determine the references for preparing and developing study plans which will help in unifying the structure of study plans and programs and achieving the university goals.
4. Cooperate with public and private sectors and form partnerships with local and internal universities to improve the quality of study plans and programs and meet the demands of labor market
5. Develop the educational affairs at colleges and deans’ offices via following-up their strategic and executive plans as well as studying and analyzing their reports
6. Improve the work of departments at the Vice-Rector’s Office to increase their efficiency
