Majmaah University is one of the pioneering universities that strive to promote a culture of innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship. The university sought to attract innovators and entrepreneurs from the university’s staff (students, faculty) as well as members of the local community to transform creative and entrepreneurial ideas into start-up companies as well as create job opportunities to achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 for economic and social sustainability.
A top priority of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at MU is to achieve the Kingdom’s vision of 2030 by attracting projects and creative ideas and supporting them with logistical support by holding workshops, courses, seminars, competitions, and various activities in innovation and entrepreneurship. Part of the center's objectives is also to participate in the dissemination of the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, providing consultations, and turning innovations and patents into products of economic value that contribute to raising the economy.
