Arabic Department

             Arabic Language Department is a new department, it was opened 1423/1424H. Since opening the department played a vital role in both college and society level. For the college the department  provided all the other departments with its staff to teach the general subject. The department played a leading role in managing the different activities in college over the years. For the society,: the staff held many meaningful forums so as to  connect  the college with the society . To spread awareness among citizens , the department held the first womanly forum in college.

Vision

   Building a qualified Saudi girls cadres in all Arabic Language branches.

Mission

    Spreading and teaching Arabic language with its all branches, and to graduate educational teachers holding bachelor's degree , to provide area's school with teachers.

Objectives

-   Building a qualified Saudi girls cadres in all Arabic Language branches.

-Preserving the Arabic heritage , and prevent it from extinction under the overlap of different culture , so as to preserve Quran language.

-Preserving the Arabic Language from the change, by using different teaching techniques.

-Graduating students aware of the various methods of Arabic Language, by using technical teaching methods .

-Enhancing student's confidence to develop the education in the society.

Department Achievement

-Establishing an E-library in the department.

-Suggesting a training course for the Arabic Language teachers in area's school.

-Holding a training courses in using the interactive whiteboard.

-Setting a conception for Arabic Language courses in different departments of the college.

-Using the most recent technological methods  in teaching by the staff, through attending specialized courses in the National learning centre and the ones that held by quality deanship at the university.

-Participations of the staff in publishing different periodicals in Tawasol Magazine, that serves the language and society.

-Setting the general frame, for the various activities in college.

-Handling the  spelling common mistakes , through participation of the staff in making folders .

-Suggestion of holding a workshop for the Arabic Language teachers under the title of "The basic standards in analyzing the Arabic text.

-Preserving the Arabic Language through the language  checking, for the magazine and the book of the college that issued by the deanship, in addition to various college's publications.
