Both invention and innovation which are the path leading to the improvement of quality and manifested by either promoting the concept of patriotismor turning the national economy into a vibrant and diverse one, rest mainly on knowledge and creating more jobs for citizens. Majmaah University thus is keen to be an environment conducive for the success of entrepreneurs with particular focus on research and performance indicators.
Innovation has become one of the valuable pillars in 2030 vision, and it needs an environment to encourage and support these ideas. Therefore, a Unit for Invention and Innovation has been established in the university to provide opportunities to students.
Creative ideas that address social, economic, and environmental issues are abundantly founded in our society. Such ideas that might be encountered with obstacles, however, need support and perseverance to see the light of day and to reach the decision makers. Thus, the idea of establishing communication channels and protecting patent rights are very essential for the development and progress for any nation.
