The research chair is composed of an administration committee for the chair affairs headed by the supervisor of the chair, the chair professor as a member and a number of members who have interests in the field of the research chair
This committee is considered the supervising body over the administrative, financial and scientific aspects of all the research chairs. It is also committed to following the achievement of goals and message of the chairs.
The work period of a research chair is not less than four years from the date of establishment. It is allowed to extend the period later.
The scientific research chairs cover all the fields of science and knowledge that serve the message of the university, the society needs, scientific research and the national economy that depends on knowledge. Also, they satisfy the needs of financers.

The disbursement aspects of the chair budget include the following:
1. Researches and studies that are under the research chair program
2. Equipments, tools and requirements
The supervisor of each char of research chairs is responsible for planning a yearly budget includes the expected expenses within the limits allocated for the chair in that year. The budget will be approved by the research chairs committee.
