The Law Department is committed to equipping students with a comprehensive legal education, fostering critical legal thinking through a structured scientific methodology that integrates theoretical and practical aspects. This approach ensures a balance between academic requirements and real-world market needs, providing graduates with exceptional skills that enable them to seamlessly excel in their professional careers.

By supplying the labor market and society with highly specialized legal professionals, the department contributes to various legal fields in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030. As part of this vision, the women’s section was established as a valuable addition, enhancing the presence of female legal professionals in the community.

Requirements

  1. ⁠The applicant must hold a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification from inside or outside the Kingdom.
  2. ⁠The high school diploma or equivalent must have been obtained within the past five years.
  3. ⁠The applicant must have good conduct and behavior.
  4. ⁠The applicant must successfully pass any exams or personal interviews determined by the university.
  5. ⁠The applicant must be medically fit.
  6. ⁠If employed, the applicant must obtain approval from their employer, whether in the government or private sector.
  7. The applicant must not have been dismissed from another university for disciplinary reasons.
  8. Holders of a bachelor's degree or its equivalent are not eligible to pursue another bachelor’s degree.
  9. Students already enrolled in another university program at any level —whether at the same university or another institution— cannot be accepted.
  10. The applicant's high school GPA must be at least 70%.
  11. ⁠Must pass the equivalency criteria determined by the Department Council, College Council, and University Council.
  12. ⁠Must meet any additional requirements set by the Deanship of Admission and Registration at the university.
