The Permanent Committee for Scholarship and Training held its eleventh meeting for the current academic year 1444 AH, on Monday, headed by the Vice-Rector for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Ahmed Al-Rumaih.
Mr. Hamad Al-Sanani, the director of the Scholarship and Training Department - Secretary of the Committee - explained that a number of topics were discussed including: new scholarship requests for the United States of America and Australia, extension of scholarships for a number of students, and the termination of scholarships for 4 faculty members.
Prof. Al-Rumaih stresses that it is important to continue communication with scholarship students inside and outside the Kingdom, following up the course of their scholarship journey, and overcoming the obstacles that face them in coordination with the scientific departments.
