Prof. Al-Obudi, vice-rector for educational affairs, paid a visit to the Common First Year Deanship to inspect the progress of educational process and ensure that health precautionary measures are in place.

As the university is preparing to welcome students for the new academic year, the acting rector, Prof. Al-Dosari inspected the readiness of facilities at the Common First Year Deanship such as classrooms and labs.

Amid precautionary measures, the Deanship of Common First Year has conducted final exams for the second semester of the academic year 1442. The dean and vice-dean for educational affairs have had a tour of inspection to the exam halls.

The Deanship of Common First Year is conducting a training course for faculty members entitled "Performance indicators in the Blackboard learning management system".

Time and place: Sunday 7/3/2021, 7 pm

The Deanship of Common First Year is conducting a course on IELTS preparation which will start by 21/2/2021 and end by 17/3/2021. The course will feature practices of exam samples. 

The Common First Year is inviting new students to attend virtual orientation meetings for students as follow:

The Common First Year is requesting new students and level-2 not to visit the Deanship during the first week of study and allow the staff to complete the registration process and the preparation for timetable.

Under the patronage of the dean of Common First Year Deanship, Dr. Abdelmohsen al-Khunaizan, the Vice-Dean’s Office for Development and Quality, conducted a workshop entitled “Measuring learning outcomes and writing a course report”.

Amid precautionary measures to protect students and faculty members, the first semester exams for the academic year 1442 AH started at the Deanship of Common First Year.  

The Vice-Dean’s Office for Development & Quality at the Common First Year Deanship conducted a virtual orientation program for new faculty.

Freshmen at male and female campuses in Majmaah and Zulfi are required to attend on Sunday 30 August,2020 at 9:30 am based on the below schedule. You are encouraged to show up half an hour earlier to find out your hall.

Dear students, the English-language makeup exam will be held on Sunday 4/4/20/2020 - 26/8/1441 AH at 11:00 am through the Blackboard program, with our best wishes for success.

Dear students, the test for the fourth, fifth and sixth units of the English language will be held for all levels through the Blackboard system on Sunday 12-4-2020AD / 19-8-1441 AH at 11:00 AM, and the tests will be available within the reading skill section.

The Deanship of Common First Year held the second session of the Student Consulting Council for male and female campus via Microsoft Teams. The session was supervised by the dean, Dr. Abdelmohsen Al-Khunaizan and the vice-deans, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Arifi, Dr. Layla Al-Haydari and Dr.
