MU Participates in Workshop in Second Saudi Exhibition (Dia’a 2) for Special Need Students (SNSs)

Within the participation of MU in the Second Saudi Exhibition(Diaa 2)for Special Need Students (SNSs), the Director of the Department of the University Environment and Occupational Health Management at the Vice Rectorate, Mr. Abdul Ilah bin Abdullah Al-Mutairi, presented a workshop on a project called “Access Portal“. He showed a brief overview of the stages of this project, saying that it came to confirm the University's policy in supporting SNSs, initiated by His Excellency the Rector, Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al-Mugren. This project aimed at providing a package of services for SNSs at the University and the society levels. Mr. Al-Mutairi stated that the access portal is the first step in this project, and the services provided are meant to facilitate the students’ access into the various services, and to break the communication barriers with the various University sections. Then, he presented a detailed explanation of the mobile portal access project, technical specifications and the proposed engineering designs. Finally, He listened to a number of interventions, some observations and suggestions that might support the comprehensive idea of the implementation of the project to achieve the desired objectives.
