Committee translation of e-portal content held its first meeting under the chairmanship of the Vice Rector, Dr. Musalam bin Mohammed Al-Dosari, on Monday, 04/13/1436 AH at the hall meetings in the Deanship of E-learning and online Distance Learning. His Excellency, the chairman of the committee started the meeting by welcoming of the participants and urged them to continue in spending more efforts like that made in previous sessions of the committee. After that, statistics based on translation e-portal content have been showed, where the number of translated texts amounted 839 text to a total of 1,778,971 word. Then, they viewed the work of translators committee members, and restricted observations and obstacles they might face during the previous session of the committee. This was reported by His Excellency Mr. Badir bin Nasser Al-Salem, secretary of the committee who added that the translation system content continues to grow up, and this indicates that we need for increasing the number of translators. Then, the committee was agreed to develop a system of translation e-portal content which is facilitating the work of the administrators of sub-portals and translators. This procedure will increase the speed of content translation. In addition, it was emphasized on all administrators of the sub-portals to send untranslated texts regularly.
In conclusion, His Excellency the chairman of the committee, Dr. Musalam bin Mohammed Al Dosari, thanked the committee members and translators for their efforts and wished everyone more success in the future.
