Under the supervision of the Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Prof. Mohammed Al-Aboudi, the Deanship for Educational Affairs has launched the second edition of the assessment platform “Etqan”, designed to strengthen students’ skills and values and enhance their readiness for the job market. This initiative reflects the University’s commitment to academic quality and to qualify students for the market.
Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Qafari, General Supervisor of the Vice-Rector’s Office, explained that the updated edition aims to empower students and support their academic and professional journeys through innovative digital tools that elevate performance and foster future skills. All university students can access the new assessments directly through the “Etqan” platform, added Dr. Al-Qafari.
Dr. Aisha Al-Bakri, Supervisor of the Teaching and Learning Excellence Department, added that the new edition includes a set of diagnostic assessments that measure student levels in language, social competence, innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable learning. These tools help create a motivating educational environment that enables students to better understand their skill levels and improve them systematically.
Rehab Al-Mutairi, Director of the Digital Transformation Unit, highlighted that the “Etqan” platform is one of the University’s key initiatives that strengthens the culture of continuous learning and supports digital transformation in education in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
