Development and Beautification of Majmah University

Towards a better university environment and at the request of MU Rector Dr. Khalid Al-Muqrin and under the supervision of Vice-Rector Prof. Musallam Al Dosari, the General Directorate of Operation and Maintenance in cooperation with the General Directorate of Projects and Technical Affairs carried out several developments to improve the University environment on campus.

• Development of Internal Roundabouts

Six internal roundabouts have been beautified by some models and geometric shapes. Moreover, waterfalls and fountains have been set up in addition to break marble and some plants as follows:
• Academic Accreditation Roundabout
A stereoscopic representing the institutional academic accreditation of Majmah University was installed. Grass and roses were planted and stones were laid.

• Dorms Roundabout
A sculpture representing the dormitories buildings has been installed. Additionally, fully equipped waterfalls, flowers, and palms have been planted in various geometric shapes using natural stones.

• Print House Roundabouts
Fully equipped grass has been cultivated and a circular fountain has been made with different water levels and paths using marble breakage.

• Mahmia Roundabout:
Grass has been planted and natural stones have been laid.

• Camp Roundabout:
Interlock has been fitted with geometric shapes and different colors.

• South Parking Roundabout.
Interlock has been fitted with geometric shapes and different colors.

• Increasing the Green Area
This is as follows:
• Planting 20,000 roses on the sides of roads and roundabouts.
• Planting 305 palm trees on the sides of roads and roundabouts.
• Planting 1,100 different types of trees on the sides of roads and roundabouts.
• Planting natural grass with a total area of 6000 m2 in different locations.
• Installation of artificial grass with a total area of 350 m2 in different locations.
• A fountain has been set up at the main entrance of the University Administration with a plaque bearing its logo.
• A small stone (gravel) with a total area of approximately 5760 m2 has been spread in different locations.
