MU RECTOR LAUNCHES THE EXPANSION PROJECT OF ZULFI DENTAL CLINICS

MU Rector, Prof. Saleh Al-Mezal, launched the expansion and development Project of the Dental Clinics (Zulfi Branch) in the presence of the Governor of Zulfi, Mr. Saleh Saif Al-Rafea, along with senior university leaders and staff.

Following the official ribbon-cutting ceremony, the Rector toured the clinics accompanied by the General Supervisor of the University Health Facilities, Dr. Nasser Al-Dharwi. The tour included the clinics’ advanced clinical infrastructure, modern medical equipment, and supporting service facilities. MU Rector expressed his gratitude for the quality of the completed work and pointed out that the clinics' advanced technologies should be optimized in the best possible manner to achieve the long-term goals. 

The project includes 55 dental clinics, comprising 40 teaching clinics and 15 specialized clinics. It is equipped with a 3-in-1 advanced imaging system (panoramic, 3D, and lateral cephalometric imaging), the first of its kind in the region. The facilities also feature a centralized sterilization unit built to the highest occupational safety standards and a fully integrated therapeutic dental laboratory. All clinical services are provided free of charge.

The visit ended with honoring the partnering entities that contributed to the successful completion of the project.
