MU PARTICIPATES IN SECOND STAGE OF UNIVERSITY INNOVATION CHALLENGE FOR STUDENTS

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (IEC) at MU took part in the second stage of the University Innovation Challenge for students which is organized by the UNDP Saudi office, the Ministry of Education, Babson Global Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership, and Prince Mohammed Bin Salman College of Business.

The aim of the program is to support sustainable innovation practices and address global sustainability challenges.

A group of students from the College of Engineering presented a project which is a Learning System in the presence of the director of IEC, Dr. Abdullah Bajahzar, under the supervision of Dr. Abdel Aziz Al-Mutairi. The system allows students to exchange knowledge with each other in different fields which saves their time and money. 

The event addressed various topics, presenting successful experiences in innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as discussing difficulties and challenges facing leaders and officials in spreading the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship.

The vice-rector, Dr. Jawaher Al-Omar, pointed out that developing students' skills in innovation is at the center of the university pursuit and providing support to them in an environment conducive to learning.
