SCHOLARSHIP STUDENT DALAL AL-MUTAIRI AWARDED DISSERTATION FELLOWSHIP FROM UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT ARLINGTON, USA

MU scholarship-PhD candidate Dalal Al-Mutairi was awarded a dissertation fellowship from the Graduate Studies Office at the University of Texas, Arlington for the year 2021.

Al-Mutairi who received a stipend of 7000 USD has successfully passed the viva in the Department of Mathematics on Monday, June 7th,2021, and the title of her dissertation is “Mathematical approach of lutex core line and lutex core tube for vortex structure visualization”.

Al-Mutairi- a lecturer in the Department of Mathematics, College of Education- has also received other awards due to her good academic standing both at MA and PhD levels and had her tuition fees waived.

Dalal extended her thanks to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Crown Prince for the generous support to education in this nation. Her appreciations were also expressed to MU rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Muqren, the vice-rector Dr. Ahmed Al-Rumaih, and the former vice-rector, Prof. Mohammed Al-Shayae, for their follow-up and encouragement to overcome any potential obstacles during academic journey.
