MU’S FACULTY MEMBER LUBNA AL-HANAKI WINS 3RD POSITION IN WORLD’S FIRST HOLY QURAN HACKATHON

A team from Majmaah University led by the faculty member at the College of Computer Science and Information, Ms. Lubna Al-Hanaki, won the third position in the world’s first Hackathon for the Nobel Qura’an.   

Over 2000 participants from 44 countries have taken part in the event which was organized by King Abdul Aziz University and sponsored by Mecca Governor and Advisor of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Prince Khalid Al-Faisal.

The Noble Quran Programming initiative aims to bring together young innovators from disciplines interested in the Noble Quran, technology experts, programmers, and entrepreneurs to invest their talents in creating technical solutions that serve the book of Allah through recitation, memorization, and understanding.

Ms. Al-Hanaki’s team comprised the engineer Sara Al-Mufaraj and Arwa Al-Mufaraj.
